- “TTI Group Entity” means Techtronic Asia Company Limited or any other person or entity directly, or indirectly through one or more intermediaries, controlling, controlled by, or under common control of Techtronic Asia Company Limited; and
- “we”, “our”, “us” or “Company” means Techtronic Asia Company Limited.
This statement shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and Chinese versions of this statement, the English version shall prevail.
We would like to inform you of the following:

It is our policy to comply with the PDPO. This statement sets out the purposes for which your personal data collected by us relating to or in connection with your purchase at our Milwaukee Tool Hong Kong website will be used following collection, to whom it will be transferred and who is responsible for handling your data access or correction requests.

We intend to use your personal data for direct marketing and will abide by the laws concerning direct marketing in Part 6A Division 3 of the PDPO.
We intend to use the personal data set out in section 2 of this statement to send you marketing materials about, without limitation, our products, services, events, programmes, campaigns and news update. The dispatch of such direct marketing communications may be undertaken by third-party service providers.
In addition, we intend to provide the personal data set out in section 2 of this statement to other TTI Group Entities to send you marketing materials about, without limitation, updates on products, services, events, programmes and campaigns. Our provision of your personal data will not be for gain.
The direct marketing communications to you will generally be through electronic means (e-mail, SMS and/or other media whether now known or available in the future) and/or by direct mail.
You may opt out of receiving direct marketing communications from us at any time by sending your request to our Data Privacy Officer by post or email (please refer to the contact details at the end of this statement). We will then stop any further direct marketing related emails from ourselves.
You may also at any time require us to cease to provide your personal data to any other person for use by that other person in direct marketing by sending your request to our Data Privacy Officer by post or email (please refer to the contact details at the end of this statement). We will comply with such request promptly and will notify in writing any person to whom the data has been so provided to cease to use the data in direct marketing.
The aforesaid requests can be made without charge.

We maintain appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data you provide to us from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration and unauthorized disclosure or access.
We will also take all practicable steps to erase your personal data if that is no longer required for the purpose for which the data is used, unless erasure is prohibited by law or is not in the public interest.

We intend to use the personal data set out in section 2 of this statement to send you marketing materials about, without limitation, our products, services, events, programmes, campaigns and news update. The dispatch of such direct marketing communications may be undertaken by third-party service providers.
In addition, we intend to provide the personal data set out in section 2 of this statement to other TTI Group Entities to send you marketing materials about, without limitation, updates on products, services, events, programmes and campaigns. Our provision of your personal data will not be for gain.
The direct marketing communications to you will generally be through electronic means (e-mail, SMS and/or other media whether now known or available in the future) and/or by direct mail.
You may opt out of receiving direct marketing communications from us at any time by sending your request to our Data Privacy Officer by post or email (please refer to the contact details at the end of this statement). We will then stop any further direct marketing related emails from ourselves.
You may also at any time require us to cease to provide your personal data to any other person for use by that other person in direct marketing by sending your request to our Data Privacy Officer by post or email (please refer to the contact details at the end of this statement). We will comply with such request promptly and will notify in writing any person to whom the data has been so provided to cease to use the data in direct marketing.
The aforesaid requests can be made without charge.

There is no fee for requesting this information. We will provide you with the source of personal data unless it is impracticable or unreasonable to do so.
5. PROTECTION AND RETENTION OF YOUR PERSONAL DATA
We maintain appropriate technical and organizational measures to protect the personal data you provide to us from accidental or unlawful destruction, loss, alteration and unauthorized disclosure or access.
We will also take all practicable steps to erase your personal data if that is no longer required for the purpose for which the data is used, unless erasure is prohibited by law or is not in the public interest.

Statement relating to the Personal Data (Privacy) Ordinance (Cap. 486 of the Laws of Hong Kong) (“PDPO”)
This is a statement to inform you of your rights under the PDPO.
For the purpose of this statement:
- “Portal” means the Milwaukee Customer Portal;
- “TTI Group Entity” means Techtronic Asia Company Limited or any other person or entity directly, or indirectly through one or more intermediaries, controlling, controlled by, or under common control of Techtronic Asia Company Limited; and
- “we”, “our”, “us” or “Company” means Techtronic Asia Company Limited.
This statement shall be governed by, and construed in accordance with, the laws of the Hong Kong Special Administrative Region. If there is any inconsistency or conflict between the English and Chinese versions of this statement, the English version shall prevail.
We would like to inform you of the following:
1. OVERVIEW
It is our policy to comply with the PDPO. This statement sets out the purposes for which your personal data collected by us relating to or in connection with your navigation through the Portal will be used following collection, to whom it will be transferred and who is responsible for handling your data access or correction requests.

Moreover, if you elect to login your Account through social media (such as Yahoo, Facebook, Google, Line and Twitter), we will also collect information about your social media accounts such as your user ID and profile avatar.
